Through this research, she intends to evaluate healthcare workers’ knowledge levels, clinical practices, attitudes, and associated factors regarding contraceptive counseling for women living with rheumatic heart disease. Her study aims to address low contraceptive uptake and the use of contraindicated family planning methods among women with RHD by identifying critical knowledge gaps among frontline clinicians. Ultimately, Nankya seeks to leverage her findings to strengthen healthcare worker training, improve reproductive health counseling protocols, and ensure safe family planning options for women with chronic cardiovascular conditions.
